{Sewn} Hip Hop Harems

So… yeah, I’ve been doing more pattern testing for Little Kiwi's Closet. This time testing Lydia’s brand new Hip Hop Harem Pants pattern. Once again Lydia has produced an awesome and versatile pattern (unisex, sizes 0-6 year and can be made using knit or woven fabrics). Another great thing about this pattern is it is such a quick sew (literally about 20 or so minutes) … I guess that is why I went a bit crazy and made more than I was officially testing!

I think the photos basically speak for themselves. I think they also my kids’ personalities quite well. They chose the poses/ styling of the photos themselves. Gotta love the tongues!

The last couple of photos show a baby shower present that I made. The harems pictured here are size 0-3months and I made the little bunny using this free tutorial I found on Pinterest.

… Next up on the sewing front is KCW and I have HEAPS of stuff planned – perhaps on the slightly over ambitious side of things, but I’m going to have a lot of fun! You can expect to see a lot of stripes, spots, chambray and florals from me!

Are you joining in? Comment with a link and I’ll follow/ blog stalk you!

Your kids look so adorable! Great job on the pants - I love the fabrics you chose and the lace knees on Isy's ones! I'm going to be honest here: I really don't get the harem pants thing... I think I'm just old fashioned... If you need me in 20 years, I'll be the one with the out-of-date clothes! ;)
