It’s time for another instalment in my NZ Kid's Clothing Review series. I hope that you’ve been following along and enjoying the series. I’ve been enjoying celebrating NZ design and seeing how many talented Kiwi makers and entrepreneurs their are out there.
Lydia of Little Kiwis is one such talented Mum/ pattern designer/ entrepreneur and sewer (amongst other things.) She makes and sells bias binding (so much better than the stuff in the fabric shops), and of course baby and kids’ clothing and accessories!
And if you saw my last post featuring Isabelle's doll carrier, then you will have already witnessed Lydia’s pattern designing skills in action. (This, and more of her patterns can be found here, in her Etsy shop.)
But, anyway … back to the baby and Kids’ clothing made by Little Kiwis.
Most of the clothing that Lydia makes are one of a kind (with very limited runs) although she does take custom orders through the Little Kiwis Facebook page including the Owl dress above (which is available in sizes 1-5.)
I was very lucky to be on the receiving end of some Little Kiwis cuteness when Pipi was born. Lydia very kindly sent
me Pipi a gorgeous ruffle top as featured in this post. It doesn’t quite fit Pipi yet, but I can’t wait to dress her in it this Summer.
Here are some more of my personal Little Kiwis favourites:
reversible pinny size 1 (other sizes and colour combinations also available)
Pretty cute right?
And because Lydia is so generous, she very kindly agreed to giveaway ANOTHER one of her gorgeous PDF patterns from her Etsy shop. (In case you missed it, I’m already giving away a copy of the doll's carrier pattern in this post.)
This giveaway will be for a PDF copy of one of Lydia’s clothing patterns
For your first (and mandatory) entry you just need to visit the Little Kiwis Closet Etsy shop, and comment back here with your favourite pattern.
You can also earn bonus entries as follows (please leave a separate comment for each):
Bonus entry 2# Like Little Kiwis on Facebook
Bonus entry 3# Share this giveaway on your choice of social media (FB/ twitter/ blog)
That’s a total of 4 possible entries each!
[The T’s & C’s: Please leave separate comments per entry and include your email address if it’s not linked in your profile. The winner will be drawn on 2 September 2013 at 8pm (NZ time). This giveaway is open INTERNATIONALLY and the winner will be emailed the PDF pattern. If the winner cannot be contacted after 2 weeks, a new winner will be drawn.]
As you can see both this and the doll carrier pattern giveaway will be drawn at the same time and I will announce the two winners in one post – and yes, in case you are wondering whether you could enter BOTH competitions you sure can. Because more chances to win is a good thing right?
Thanks so much to Lydia for your generosity!
