I’m a bit late with my portraits this week as I’ve been too busy sewing and lounging with a bit of pregnancy tiredness (low iron.) But better late than never I say, so here they are …

A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2013."

Isabelle: My girly girl who loves her dolls and all things “poink” (her pronounciation of ‘pink’). Yet she can wrestle and make “raaa” noises with the best of them.

Noah: Very seriously studying the map. (Note also the haircut – farewell 'blonde fuzz'!)

… And speaking of blonde fuzz, I give you the non-cropped version of this photo (it was taken just post hair cut, a Mum-done one I might add!)

I would have included it as is but I want to print all my portraits out at the end of the year in a photobook, and thought this was a little to odd or perhaps creepy, I’m not too sure… what do you think? (And yes, in case you’re wondering, he did run away half way through leaving a extremely disturbing looking mullet – which was soon rectified!)

Belatedly joining in over here

For the rest of my 52 project (so far) see here

I think that last picture tells a good story - and the portraits should be for you and your family, so go with what you think. What a pretty little top your girl has on too :) x

I love her top too. Making a book from the portraits is a lovely idea x
