Outfit breakdown: blazer and little black dress – World (hand-me-downs from my Sister who works there), green shoes – Isabella Anselmi from Overland, bow necklace – thrifted, yellow clutch – Farmers.
It’s fun to have the opportunity to dress up, and on Saturday I did when we attended the VIP opening night at El Matador, a new Cafe, Asador Grill and Bar in Wellington. My husband, Andrew has a little architecture practice and drew up the plans for the place. (If you get the chance you really should check it out – it opens soon for the public. They do Tapas and I would definitely recommend the churros!)
We went down to Wellington, the kids were looked after by Nana and Granddad and we stayed at a nice hotel.
Andrew and I went shopping earlier in the day and I bought some bright coloured accessories (the shoes and clutch) to brighten up my otherwise black outfit. I absolutely LOOOOVE my new shoes!
Thanks to Andrew stepping in as a real live photo-taker (much better than my normal self timer shots!)
